Former Portsmouth and Derby striker Deon Burton is weighing up a contract offer from MK Dons, Sky Sports understands.
Burton is available on a free transfer after leaving Azerbaijan Premier League outfit Gabala earlier this summer.
The 35-year-old has been training with MK Dons during pre-season as he looks to find himself a new club in England.
Burton is thought to have impressed Dons boss Karl Robinson during training and the League One outfit have now offered the Jamaican international a short-term deal at Stadium:mk.
Burton's agent, Darryl Powell of Paramount Sports Management, confirmed the forward was weighing up the offer from MK Dons.
"Deon has been training with MK Dons and he has impressed Karl Robinson," Powell told skysports.com.
"They have offered him a six-month contract and we are now contemplating the offer."
