New Coventry defender Kevin Malaga believes his style of play will suit the English game ahead of the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year-deal with the Sky Blues this week after being released by French club Nice.
"I am a centre-back and I wanted to experience the English game. The mentality here is very different to France as it is much faster and more physical which I believe will suit me," he told the club's official website.
"I played in a training game this week and the manager liked me and it is great to sign for Coventry City.
"I have been up to the Ricoh Arena and it is really beautiful - as good as anything there is in France.
"It's a very good surface and hopefully we can play good football there this season."
