Striker rejects new deal at Wrexham to move to League One

Crewe Alexandra have completed a third signing of the summer after capturing striker Mathias Pogba from non-league side Wrexham. Pogba, who is the brother of former Manchester United midfielder Paul, has agreed a two-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months, at Gresty Road. The League One club have confirmed that nominal compensation has been settled with Wrexham, who had offered Pogba a new two-year deal. The 21-year-old had been linked with a move to Doncaster after being signed for Wrexham during Rovers manager Dean Saunders' time at the helm in 2010. However, he has opted for a switch to Crewe and he follows Mark Ellis and Gregor Robertson in agreeing to join Steve Davis' ranks for next season.
