Algerian striker Mehdi Kerrouche has had his contract at Swindon Town cancelled by mutual consent.
Kerrouche scored eight goals in 18 appearances for the Robins after arriving in Wiltshire last summer, but fell out of favour with manager Paolo Di Canio during the second half of last season. His final Town goal came in an FA Cup win over Huddersfield in November. Kerrouche, who spent time on loan at Oxford last season, is now free to find another club ahead of the 2012/13 campaign.
