Oldham youngster Glenn Belezika has signed his first professional deal with the League One club.
The 18-year-old defender has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with Latics retaining the option for a further 12 months.
A significant number of injuries to key players at Boundary Park in recent months have allowed Belezika top work his way into the first-team picture and the centre-back made his debut in the Easter Monday defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.
"It's a dream come true and I am delighted to have signed, but I am not going to let it go to my head as it is just the start," he told Oldham's official website.
"My mum keeps telling me it is not where you start but where it ends and I want to be talking about my career aged 28, 29.
"It has been a good start, but it is nothing more than that at this stage."
