Macclesfield have completed their second signing in as many days with the capture of Matt Ball on loan from Norwich.
Ball, a Northern Ireland Under-19 international midfielder, has joined the Silkmen from the Premier League outfit until the end of the season. The 18-year-old is yet to make his first-team bow for the Canaries but was named on the bench for the Championship clash with Crystal Palace in October 2010 and has become a regular fixture in the Carrow Road reserve set up this term, scoring eight goals in 14 appearances. Ball joins Matt Smith at the Moss Rose following the striker's loan switch from Oldham on Wednesday and both players are available to make their Macclesfield debuts in Saturday's vital clash with League Two basement side Dagenham.
