Wycombe goalkeeper Nikki Bull feels his latest clean sheet has helped make up for the goals he has conceded this season.
Wanderers have conceded 63 goals this season but managed just their third shut-out of the season as they hammered Hartlepool 5-0 at the weekend.
Bull has blamed himself for the leakiest defence in the country, but is looking to build on a rare positive and admits that as long as the team win games, the amount of goals they concede doing so is not important.
"From a personal point of view, look at the goals that have been going in this year. I've conceded more goals than any other goalkeeper in the country and I've played every game, so I'm responsible for every one of those goals," Bull told the Bucks Free Press.
"It's not been easy - it's probably been the hardest six months of my career - but I haven't taken the easy way out. I've kept putting myself out there. I'm a great believer in good things come to those who wait."
"The situation we're in, if we win 4-3 we'll take it. A lot of goals have gone in this season so to get a blank sheet is a bonus for me. Hopefully we'll get a few more."
