Jayden Stockley thinks Bournemouth is perfect for him to develop as a striker, saying he would like to stay for as long as possible.
The teenage forward, who is now back fighting for a first-team place with the Cherries after a loan spell at Accrington, has seen several players in his mould progress through the ranks at the Dorset club before earning moves to a higher level. And although he is not looking to make the switch away from Dean Court just yet, Stockley knows Bournemouth's reputation of shaping top-quality frontmen is nothing to be scoffed at. "It's a great team and it's a really good place for developing strikers," he said. "You can see with the likes of Sam Vokes, (Brett) Pitman, Josh McQuoid and others - they've all come through the ranks and that's what I want to be doing. Not necessarily to move on but to be playing and becoming a better striker. "I was lucky enough to sign five years with the club when I was younger and I added three this season. My long-term aim is to be at Bournemouth and playing for them."
