Oldham winger Filipe Morais hopes his late equaliser against League One leaders Charlton will give his season a timely boost.
The 26-year-old came off the bench at the Valley to claim a valuable point against the Addicks.
Having missed most of pre-season through injury, Latics' recent impressive run of form has left the Portuguese on the sidelines.
"It was about time I scored because it has been a frustrating time not starting the season well, Morais told Oldham's official website.
"I have felt sharp for the last couple of months, but the lads have been doing really well and I haven't been able to get into the team.
"I feel really fresh and hopefully I will be playing again sooner rather than later and be able to kick start my season."
