Wycombe Wanderers are hopeful Scott Donnelly's knee injury sustained on Saturday is not as bad as initially feared.
Donnelly, on loan from Swansea, needed treatment for three minutes after he collapsed in front of the dug-outs grasping his right knee early on in the 3-2 home victory over Chesterfield.
The midfielder, 23, was carried off on a stretcher and left Adams Park on crutches.
Wanderers manager Gary Waddock said: "It has settled down a little bit. It was a bad one, he came down and his knee just buckled underneath him.
"You could tell from his reaction but we will have to wait and see."
