Westley delight at May return

Stevenage manager Graham Westley has described Ben May's return from an injury lay-off at the weekend as "tremendous".

May had been sidelined since the start of October but started Boro's FA Cup second round tie at non-league Stourbridge on Saturday. Westley had high praise for the 27-year-old forward during his 75-minute run-out. "I thought he was tremendous. He did exactly the job I wanted him to do," said Westley following his side's 3-0 victory. "We knew it was going to be windy and uneven and that we would have to go from back to front on the diagonal some of the time but I though his hold up play was first class. "He gave us a platform to build from and a lot of our good moments came from when Ben had held the ball up and allowed us to get it out wide."
