Clarke keen on Owls clash

Tom Clarke cannot wait to return to his Yorkshire roots for Leyton Orient's clash with Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.

The Halifax-born midfielder has helped inspire a turnaround at Orient since arriving from Huddersfield, helping them rise from the foot of the League One table to 17th. Clarke hopes to extend the O's 10-match unbeaten run at Hillsborough, and expects to see plenty of familiar faces at the match. "I'll have quite a bit of family up there [at Hillsborough], so it's a game I'm looking forward to," he told the club's official website. "They'll have a big crowd, it's a big game and a big occasion so we need to rise to it. We're really happy that we've kept the unbeaten run going in recent weeks and we want it to still be there after Saturday. "I'm really enjoying my time here. The lads are brilliant and it's nice when you're getting good results. Everyone's buzzing and we're focused on getting up that table even more now."
