Striker Nathan Eccleston has returned to Premier League outfit Liverpool following his loan spell at Rochdale.
The 20-year-old, who has previously enjoyed spells with Huddersfield and Charlton, marked his Dale debut with a goal in the 3-1 defeat to Exeter last month, but he failed to find the net again in six subsequent appearances. Eccleston's final appearance for the club came as a second-half substitute at Preston on Saturday, where Steve Eyre's men ended a run of six games without a win in League One thanks to Nicky Adams' late strike.
