Robertson on the comeback path

Chesterfield defender Gregor Robertson has made his comeback in the reserves after seven months out with an Achilles injury.

Robertson suffered the injury during a 3-0 defeat at Hereford in April, just a month before John Sheridan's side were crowned League Two champions. The 27-year-old had not long since recovered from a year out with a broken leg. Robertson resumed training this month and played 30 minutes in a behind-closed-doors practice match this week. "Gregor has been working really hard on getting back and you can see the benefits of all his efforts in his training. He now just needs to get some more practice games under his belt," Chesterfield physio Jamie Hewitt told the club's official website.
