Brentford skipper Kevin O'Connor will see another specialist next week to discover the full extent of his foot injury.
The long-serving midfielder was stretchered off during the first half of Saturday's FA Cup win against Basingstoke.
O'Connor visited a specialist this week who confirmed he had damaged ligaments in his foot, but the 29-year-old will get a second opinion after the weekend.
Boss Uwe Rosler told the Hounslow Chronicle: "We still don't know the full extent of Kevin's injury, but he will definitely miss the next couple of games."
