Australian midfielder James Wesolowski thinks Oldham's team spirit was epitomised by their 3-3 comeback draw at Preston.
The Latics came from 2-0 and 3-2 behind to take a point from the clash at Deepdale, with Wesolowski scoring twice.
And the former Leicester and Peterborough player feels such resolve can only bode well for Oldham in the future.
"We showed a lot of character after falling behind a couple of times," he told the club's official website.
"We showed a lot of spirit which will stand us in good stead for the rest of the season."
