Wycombe boss Gary Waddock admitted his side were well beaten after the 2-0 defeat at Oldham.

Midfield pair James Wesolowski and Dean Furman scored their first goals of the season for a Latics side who rarely came under threat.

Waddock said: "I have no complaints whatsoever about the result because we didn't work their keeper at all.

"It was not the most exciting of games but we created two defensive problems for ourselves and Oldham scored from both. We started okay but that was not the same team who went to Hartlepool last week and got a win.

"We won't win every week but the Oldham keeper never made a save and we have to be more consistent.

"Over the course of a season you need to grind out results even when you aren't playing well. You have to be up for every single game but for some reason it was a bit flat."
