Oldham striker Reuben Reid will undergo a scan to reveal the extent of his thigh injury suffered against MK Dons.
The 23-year-old limped out of Monday's 2-1 win over the Dons after pulling up with the problem midway through the first half.
He will have the injury assessed on Thursday, with boss Paul Dickov expecting the former West Brom man to be out for two to six weeks.
