Walsall midfielder Richard Taundry is determined to reclaim his starting place after revealing the anguish caused by being dropped.
The 22-year-old, who has made over 100 appearances for the Saddlers, was ever-present under manager Dean Smith at the start of the season.
However, has found himself axed for the last two games - something he is keen to put an end to.
He told the Express & Star: "It's the worst feeling ever when you're playing and all of a sudden you're out of the team.
"It's about picking yourself up and working your way back in. It's the gaffer's decision, not mine, so it's something I have to live with.
"It puts you on a bit of a downer but there's not much you can do, except for work hard."
