Wycombe have signed Martin Rowlands on loan from Premier League club QPR - 14 years after the midfielder left the club.

Rowlands began his career with Wanderers, featuring in the side that progressed to the semi-final of the League Cup in 1997 before being released by then-manager John Gregory. The 32-year-old has returned to Adams Park on a three-month deal. He told the club's official website: "I'm happy to be signing for the club. I haven't played as much as I'd have liked in the last couple of years so I'm delighted (manager) Gary Waddock has given me this opportunity. "I'm here until December 27 so hopefully I can have an influence and help push the club on." Rowlands is currently QPR's longest-serving player, having racked up over 200 appearances for the club since moving to Loftus Road from Brentford in 2003. However, he was left out of Neil Warnock's 25-man squad following their promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
