Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury has confirmed he is interested in signing Stephane Zubar.
The French defender, a free agent after leaving Plymouth Argyle, has been training with the League One club and played in a reserve-team game against Torquay on Tuesday afternoon.
Zubar impressed Bradbury during the outing and the Cherries boss is now keen to hold talks with the 24-year-old.
"I liked what I saw in the game," Bradbury told the club's official website. "He is quick and powerful and a good defender - there aren't many out there who are going to run past him.
"He is an out-and-out defender, which I like about him.
"I am now going to have a chat with him to see where we go from here. I'd like to see what it will take for us to sign him as I'd really like him here."
