Brentford midfielder Toumani Diagouraga will step up his recovery from a knee injury with a run-out for the reserves.
Toumani has been sidelined for two months after suffering ligament damage in a pre-season friendly against Hampton.
The Frenchman is back in full training and has been pencilled in to play 90 minutes against Tottenham this week.
Sam Saunders will also feature in the game as he closes in on a return following a fortnight out with a knee injury. The winger resumed training last week and could be fit in time for the trip to Oldham on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Kirk Hudson will get his first taste of action since April as he attempts to overcome a hip problem.
Hudson has endured a nightmare spell with injuries since arriving at Griffin Park from Aldershot last year, making just four substitute appearances.
