Wadsworth hails Pools strikers

Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth saluted Nobby Solano and Colin Nish after their goals sank Bury 3-0.

Solano opened the scoring with an individual effort and Nish added two after the break as Pools' secured a fourth straight win. "The manner pleased me, it was professional and solid, but we didn't play as well as we have done at times. Our ball retention wasn't good in the first-half at times, but we were solid," said Wadsworth. "We never looked in trouble throughout, but goals change games. We got three and could have had double that really. "Nobby took his goal well. If you want something like that to fall inside the box, then Nobby's your man - twinkletoes isn't he? He doesn't panic and the finish was as calm and collected as you want. "Colin Nish got two, he put a shift in and his work up top is very strong. He got better throughout the first-half and him and Adam Boyd did excellently."
