Bury boss Richie Barker was left cursing his team's lack of fortune after they lost 1-0 at Chesterfield on Tuesday.
Leon Clarke's 66th-minute goal in Tuesday night's League One clash at the B2net Stadium condemned Barker's men to their fifith consecutive defeat, and the Bury manager knows how crucial it is for side to arrest that run of form as soon as possible.
"It think it had 0-0 written all over it for the first hour and the goal was disappointing but it just seems it's the luck we are having at the minute at both ends," he said.
"It could have gone a little bit differently in front of their goal as well and it about sums us up at the moment.
"Sometimes you make your own luck and I never thought I would be talking about luck but at times you do need a bit and without being negative we would have taken a 0-0 and a point.
"I saw enough tonight and we have bounced back from the last two defeats. I've seen an improvement but we have got a lot of young players in the dressing room and they need to come through it pretty quickly."
