Chesterfield boss John Sheridan wants more from his players despite a second consecutive victory after defeating Bury.
A 66th-minute goal from on-loan striker Leon Clarke was enough to secure the points but the Shakers missed a great chance to level.
Sheridan admitted he was frustrated by the way the visitors nearly got back into the match.
He said: "Up to the goal we were very comfortable but the most disappointing thing for me was our reaction after we scored.
"We did the wrong things at the wrong time. We were in control of the game for most parts of it but we just switched off and we could have ended up drawing which I don't think would have been fair.
"I don't understand what people are seeing because it could have cost us dear in the end."
