Slade slams referee after loss

Manager Russell Slade lambasted referee David Coote in the wake of Leyton Orient's 3-1 home defeat against Bournemouth.

A penalty from Harry Arter added to strikes from Wesley Thomas and Marc Pugh to ensure the Cherries climbed out of the bottom four on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the O's - who saw Dean Cox equalise prior to Scott Cuthbert being sent off - are still rooted to the bottom of the table. "The penalty and sending-off were a disgrace," said Slade. "The penalty was an appalling decision and the sending-off was iffy as well. Our player has caught his opponent with a trailing leg and the player has already gone down pending the tackle. "When it was 11 v 11, we were the best side on the pitch, there's no doubt about that. "I'm angry and disappointed and some of their players showed no dignity after the game either which is also disappointing because we've got to back to their place."
