Oldham boss Paul Dickov is disappointed to be without new recruit Bradley Diallo for the next three games.
The Frenchman was shown a red card on his full debut during last weekend's 1-1 draw against Huddersfield.
Yet, overall, Dickov has been impressed with the 21-year-old, who released by Olympique Marseille in the summer.
Dickov said: "We wanted to give Bradley a run of games which we thought he would get with Paul Black being out injured.
"Sadly he will miss the next three games through suspension. He had an excellent debut setting up Shefki Kuqi's goal and we have seen a lot of things which we believe will make Bradley a top full-back.
"Bradley is still a little raw, but there is plenty to work on and, possibly, we could have a very good player."
