Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton could not hide his disappointment after missing out on two Premier League deadline-day signings.
Skiverton was aiming to purchase former loan star Oli Johnson from Norwich and take Chelsea's Conor Clifford on loan, but neither deal came to fruition.
"It was a frustrating day," he told the Western Gazette. "I tried to sign two players but we did not get there. We went for Oli Johnson of Norwich but could not get him and the other was Conor Clifford of Chelsea as I went to watch them the other night.
"It was a little bit frustrating with them, one or two came up a little bit later, but it was not ones that I was quite looking for. I want to get ones I am after.
"With recent injuries we have had we are definitely looking for a striker, one with a little bit of pace to get in behind and we are looking for a midfielder as well because it has taken Dominic Blizzard this long to get this far.
"We need someone ready to go right now, especially with Paul Wotton so close to suspension."
