Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade says he has already replaced departed striker Alex Revell with a loan signing.
Revell, who hit 16 goals last season, was sold to Rotherham on deadline day for an undisclosed fee.
The Os were linked with a move for Bristol Rovers frontman Jo Kuffour but nothing materialised as the deadline passed.
However, Slade revealed he will bring in reinforcements once the loan window opens.
"I'd like to thank Alex for everything he did for us last season but this is a good opportunity for him on a long-term contract at Rotherham," said Slade.
"We've agreed for a player to join us on loan once the loan window opens next week, and we'll also look to bring in further loans at that time too."
