Robinson: Dons were unlucky

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson felt his side dominated against Hartlepool and were unlucky not to take maximum points from a 2-2 draw.

Luke Chadwick cancelled out Adam Boyd's opener and Jabo Ibehre's deflected effort earned the Dons a point after Poole had scored a superb solo goal for the visitors. Robinson told the club's official website: "We outpassed them, we outplayed them, outnumbered them on crosses, their keeper made five excellent saves. "That's football, we've just got to roll up our sleeves and accept that. The disappointing thing for me was we weren't clinical enough midway through the second half. "Once we got back on level terms we sat back and thought the goal was going to come at some stage but it's not like that. "Once you've got a team against the wall you have to make sure you keep them there and become more ruthless in your passing, tackling, shooting and defending. That was the only downside for me, we had them on the ropes but didn't finish them off."
