Bury striker Ryan Lowe has backed boss Richie Barker to continue his rise as the Shakers prepare for life in League One.
The Gigg Lane outfit were led to promotion under the temporary stewardship of Barker last season and that success earned the former Rotherham and Brighton striker a permanent contract.
Lowe, who reiterated his commitment to the club during the summer, sees no reason why the Shakers' success cannot continue.
He said: "We have got a great dressing room here and an up-and-coming manager who I believe can ply his trade at a higher level than Bury one day.
"The ideas he has got are phenomenal. He and everyone else at the club are the reason I am still here."
