Jay O'Shea is determined to make his mark on English football after finding a new home at MK Dons.
The Irish midfielder was released by Birmingham at the end of last season, having only made one league appearance for the Blues and spending loan spells with Middlesbrough, Stevenage and Port Vale.
However, O'Shea has announced his ambitions of stabilising his career at stadium:mk and becoming a regular fixture on the right wing.
"I've been in England for two years but I haven't held a place down in a team," O'Shea told the club's official website.
"I think I've shown glimpses of what I can do but I need to do it on a more regular basis and let people see.
"The hard work starts now. Getting the contract was good but I need to really impress before I get into the team and then hopefully when I get into the team I can hold my place down."
