Seychelles call for Betsy

Wycombe midfielder Kevin Betsy has been called up to the Seychelles squad for next month's Indian Island Ocean Games.

The 33-year-old scored twice when making his debut for the Pirates in June in a 3-1 victory over a French amateur side. Seychelles are the host nation of the eighth Ocean Games, facing Comoros, Maldives and Mauritius in Group A while Madagascar, Mayotte and Reunion battle it out in Group B. Betsy, whose father Lewis represented Seychelles in the inaugural Games in 1979, jetted out on Monday and will return on August 15. It means he will miss the league fixtures against Scunthorpe and Colchester as well as the Carling Cup clash with the U's.
