Darren Potter has signed a one-year deal with MK Dons on the same day he parted ways with Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder, 26, played for Liverpool and Wolves before completing a move to Hillsborough in the summer of 2009.
Potter told the Dons' official website: "The gaffer (Karl Robinson) is somebody I've known for a good few years through our Liverpool connection.
"He's trying to get this club to the next level and hopefully I can be a part of that."
