Influential Exeter City defender Richard Duffy has penned a new one-year contract with the Grecians.
Duffy made a total of 50 appearances for the League One outfit this season and has extended his stay at St James Park with his current deal set to expire this summer.
The 25-year-old, who arrived in 2009 and had plenty of offers from elsewhere, wasted little time signing on the dotted line, telling the club's official website: "I always wanted to stay, this is the place I want to be.
"I decided Exeter is somewhere I can progress my career again and I am delighted to have it all sorted.
"The club has been good for me and I've fitted in well. I've kept injury free across the two seasons and if you do that you can get on these good runs where your form and fitness improve."
Duffy helped the Grecians to an eighth-placed finish this season, just one point outside the play-offs.
