Yeovil winger Andy Welsh is eager to stay at Huish Park and hopes to sign a new deal within a month.
The 27-year-old scored five goals in 37 games for Town this season and wants to help the club build on the form that earned them a 14th-placed finish in League One after ending the campaign with a six-game unbeaten run.
Welsh told BBC Somerset: "I'm enjoying my time here. We'll see what's on offer and hopefully we can get a deal done.
"If we can hold on to everyone who finished the season and add a bit more I'm sure the fans will be coming back to watch at Huish Park next year."
