Huddersfield's loan star Benik Afobe has urged his team-mates to continue their impressive unbeaten record into the play-offs after narrowly missing out on automatic promotion.
The Terriers have not tasted defeat in the league since late December, a run of 24 games, including their stunning 3-2 win at champions Brighton last Saturday.
Though Southampton have pipped Huddersfield to second place, Afobe, who scored twice at the Withdean Stadium, says confidence is high going into the lottery of the play-offs.
"It is an exciting time for everyone connected with the club and all the lads are looking forward to every game that stands in our way," Afobe told skysports.com.
"There is a great buzz around the club, as you would expect from a side that have gone over 20 games unbeaten.
"We hope to extend that to the end of the season and beyond, if needed, because once you are on a run like we are on you never want it to stop."
The 18-year-old has been singled out by Terriers boss Lee Clark recently for special praise, but the Arsenal youngster insists that he is happy to take a back seat and put the team before himself.
He added: "It is always great to hear praise from the gaffer about your performances and it gives me extra confidence and determination to keep raising the bar and pushing myself.
"It is all about the team in my eyes though and as long as we are winning games I will be happy even if I've not been playing that well.
"It has worked out better than we planned because I was originally only set to stay here for a month, but I've managed to impress enough to stay here for the rest of the season.
"It has been a great experience for me and I've been delighted with how everything has gone so far."
