Jamie Smith has handed Brighton a boost for the League One promotion run-in by returning to full training.
The midfielder rejoined the rest of the Seagulls' first-team squad on Tuesday morning after 11 weeks out with a foot injury. Smith, 21, is unlikely to be considered for Saturday's home game against Sheffield Wednesday but could be in the frame for Tuesday's visit of Dagenham. It also means the former Crystal Palace youngster can attempt to secure a new deal as he is one of a number of Albion players out of contract at the end of the season.
