Notts County manager Paul Ince has extended defender Carl Regan's loan from Bristol Rovers for a further month.

Regan joined the Magpies for an initial one-month stay in February from Bristol Rovers. The 30-year-old made two appearances for Ince's side before suffering ankle and thigh injuries. With Regan on the comeback trail, Ince was determined to keep him at Meadow Lane, telling the club's official website: "We are low defensively with Graeme Lee being out, along with Krystian Pearce. "We only had Sam Sodje on the bench against Brighton, with Stephen Hunt away in London. "We wanted to get Carl in for longer and get him back in the squad, ready for another busy month."
