Carlisle United have snapped up striker Rory Loy from SPL champions Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
Loy has been training with Carlisle this week and has shown enough to secure a permanent contract with the League One club.
He had made just one substitute's appearance for Rangers this season and Cumbrians boss Greg Abbott is happy to have captured the 22-year-old.
Abbott told the club's official website: "We have a good relationship with Rangers and we have been able to keep an eye on Rory for a while.
"He played and scored against us in the recent friendly that we had up there, and we invited him down to train with us.
"He has been with us since last Monday and he has fitted in really well. Having monitored him for a while, and now having seen him first hand, we think he's exactly the kind of player that we want to bring into the club."
Carlisle are awaiting international clearance for Loy, meaning the forward, who had a spell on loan at St Mirren last season, is not available for Saturday's game against Oldham.
