Peterborough have secured the services of left-back Grant Basey following a successful trial at London Road.
The 22-year-old has joined Posh on a short-term deal until the end of the season and manager Darren Ferguson is pleased to sign the former Charlton man.
"Grant has come in and done very well with us. Mark Robson has known him since he was at Charlton in the youth team," Ferguson told the club's official website.
"He had a bad injury at Charlton but has been playing games at Barnet and he has done well since he joined us on trial, so we have taken him until the end of the season.
"He is a left-back and I am delighted to have two players who are natural in that position, but he can also play as a left-sided centre-back or one further forward.
"He is someone who is very comfortable on the ball."
