Grecians star in confident mood

Exeter defender Billy Jones is confident of a starting place as his side prepare to face Swindon on Boxing Day.

The 27-year-old missed four games for the Grecians after a bout of illness but regained a spot in the team because of Troy Archibald-Henville's one match suspension against Sheffield Wednesday. "It has been a little while since I have played and I was pleased to come back in," Jones told thisisdevon. "I came out of the side through illness and there was not a lot I could have done about it. "The worst thing that can happen is players becoming complacent and taking their place for granted. "I was given my place back and was pleased with how I did and more importantly how the team performed. "Hopefully I did enough to earn my shirt back."
