Striker Francois Zoko has signed a contract extension to keep him at Carlisle until the summer of 2012.

The 27-year-old agreed a one-year deal at the start of the season following a successful trial at the League One club. "Francois has already shown us what he can do and he has become a bit of a favourite with the fans because of the way he approaches the game," Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club's official website. "When he is on form he is really difficult to deal with and he can add something just a little bit different. "We think there is still more to come from him and we are delighted that he has decided to stay with us." Zoko has scored five goals in 23 appearances for the Cumbrians.
