Skysports.com understands Josh McQuoid is on the verge of joining Millwall on loan from Bournemouth.
The 20-year-old forward has seen his profile rocket over recent years, drawing admiring glances from the upper rungs of the Football League ladder.
He made his Northern Ireland debut in a recent friendly international against Morocco and won the penalty which allowed Nigel Worthington's men to draw level.
Outings such as that have seen him catch the eye of Championship outfit Millwall, and they have made their move to bring him on board.
It is believed that the Lions are keen to take the youngster on an initial loan deal, with the option to make the move permanent at a later date.
McQuoid is understood to be on his way to the capital for a medical ahead of putting the finishing touches to the switch.
