Oldham skipper Reuben Hazell believes his side can last the distance in the race for promotion this season.
Saturday's 1-0 home win over Huddersfield lifted Dickov's men to 11th in League One and maintained their unbeaten home record.
"If we don't achieve something this season, be it automatic promotion or the play-offs, then we're going to be a disappointed bunch," said Hazell.
"People might say we're putting pressure on ourselves but we know what we've got and it doesn't take a performance like this one to make us think we're good enough - we know that we are.
"The teams with the most consistency will always get promoted, at this level most teams there or thereabouts can beat anyone on their day."
