Swindon striker Charlie Austin's recovery from a dislocated shoulder is progressing well, according to coach Dave Morrison.
Austin has been missing since September 11 and, although no date has been set for his return, fitness and conditioning coach Morrison insists he is certainly heading in the right direction with no problems being encountered along the way.
"His fitness is good, his fitness before the injury was very good," Morrison told STFC Player. "Luckily in the consultation with the specialist, the scans showed the injury isn't as bad as expected so he's pretty much started his rehabilitation straight away, which was last week.
"We gave him a week off just to have a rest and ever since then he's been working hard on the rehabilitation side with Dick (Mackey, physio) and myself on the physiological side.
"It's given us a chance to work on aspects of his fitness, strength and power that we wouldn't normally get the chance to once the season's started."
