Peterborough captain Grant McCann could be in for a busy weekend as he faces the possibility of playing twice in less than 24 hours.
McCann is currently with the Northern Ireland squad preparing for a European Championship qualifier in Slovenia on Friday night but with the squad flying home straight after the final whistle he could yet feature for Posh at Tranmere on Saturday afternoon.
Manager Gary Johnson said: "As things stand Grant is unavailable, but he will be with the group on Saturday.
"Northern Ireland have chartered a flight to Manchester after the match so he will travel from there to join up with us.
"Obviously the extent of his involvement with us will depend on what he does with Ireland, but it's great that he wants to be with us come what may."
