Martin Rowlands is edging closer to a first-team comeback for Queens Park Rangers after another outing for the reserves.
The QPR captain has been out since last October due to a cruciate ligament injury, but has been stepping up his comeback in recent weeks.
He featured for the second string last week and came through 65 minutes unscathed in the 2-0 win over Ipswich on Tuesday.
"Rowly played half an hour last week and has now stepped it up," said reserves boss Ronnie Jepson.
"He did fine and there was no reaction. He looked comfortable and his match sharpness will gradually improve with game time.
"He was able to keep up with the pace of the game and had plenty of touches, which will do his confidence the world of good.
"Encouragingly, he didn't shirk any challenges either when they were there to be made."
Defender Fitz Hall played the full 90 minutes on his return from a hamstring injury while Akos Buzsaky and Peter Ramage were on target for Rangers.
