Tisdale hopes to agree deal to sign veteran striker
Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale is hoping to agree a contract to add veteran striker Jamie Cureton to his squad.
Cureton has been training with the Grecians during pre-season after being released by Norwich City and has done enough to warrant an offer.
The 34-year-old has already expressed a wish to join Exeter and Tisdale is keen to finalise a deal before the opening game of the season on 7th August.
Tisdale told the Express & Echo: "We would like to have him here. He is with us and he has registered with us.
"It is not a trial anymore, we are just trying to organise some kind of contractual situation.
"I want him here and I believe he wants to stay here. I would like him to be signed with us, I just have to go through the process of making that happen.
"If all goes to plan, Jamie will be with us, but until that happens I can't guarantee it."
