Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet is yet to make a decision on whether to offer trialist Filipe Morais a contract.
The former Millwall winger is available on a free transfer after rejecting an offer to stay at St Johnstone in order to move back to English football.
Morais has been training with Brighton in his native Portugal during pre-season, but played only a limited role in two friendlies.
Poyet was happy with the amount of work put in by his squad in Portugal and is still mulling over the future of Morais.
"I thought he did okay," Poyet told The Argus. "It's not just games, it's training, but it's not just how he did, it's what we need, the contract, so many things.
"We had a busy week. People read 'Portugal' and think 'holiday', but it was not a holiday. We had 10 or 11 training sessions and two games."
